Noong December 25, my family decided to spend the Christmas day in Manila: Manila as in Manila Zoo. Lesson #1: Never go to Manila Zoo on Christmas Day. You will not appreciate the place sa sobrang dami ng tao. You may not even appreciate the effort the City of Manila put in to restoring the place.

Kaya lesson #2: Never go to Star City on Christmas Day.

But despite my ranting, it is still nice to know that the Christmas spirit is still within every Filipino’s hearts, that despite the economic crisis, Filipino families still find time to observe Christmas whether they go to Manila Zoo, ride a bike amidst traffic along Roxas Boulevard, or even go to the jampacked Star City.

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
