It was an early flight last December 29. Richard and I are on our way to his hometown, La Castellana, Negros Occidental. This is when he will introduce me to his family and relatives as his “future wife”. It was nerve wracking. The one hour ride from Bacolod airport to their town is the longest one hour of my entire life.

Fortunately (and luckily) for me, his family welcomed me with open arms.

The 2 weeks stay there were spent mostly with visits to his relatives, trip to Bacolod to meet with Richard’s college friends, watching Bailes de Luces (or in layman’s term: dances of lights — which by the way i really enjoyed), finishing book 5 of harry potter, tong its during the afternoon (when it’s too hot to go outside), catching episodes of my fave telenovela Lovers in Paris, watching dvds and sleeping!!!!

bakasyon grande, indeed.
