it was a very busy week for both Richard and me. We attended foodtastings with VS & F (at Fernwood) and Eloquente (at the actual wedding in Casa Blanca, Intramuros). After a thorough comparison and computation here and there, we finally made our decision to change our caterer from Batis Asul to VS & F. yeyey! Why did we need to change? Here are the reasons:

– VS & F gave me a pretty good package: 6 course menu; mixed appetizers; soup; salad; 2 desserts; tiffany chairs

– no additional charges for the zen backdrop i requested

– will work on my zen theme with no additional charges

– the package is inclusive of VAT and out of town charges

– considering the DP i paid to Batis, VS & F still turned out to be cheaper

Richard and I took a 1 day leave last Thursday to go to Binan to file a Marriage License in the morning and register for confirmation (kumpil) at Quiapo Church later that afternoon. It helped that i was wearing a super plunging neckline small tee (hehhee) and that our application was attended right away. Richard cannot complain hehehhe… pero inisnab ng bading sa Quiapo Church ang plunging neckline ko at sinungit sungitan ang lola nyo. oh well…

Richard and I went to Glorietta last Saturday and met with Connie (our AE) of VS & F to pay the downpayment. Richard also bought a new pair of black shoes for his friend’s wedding. This is Richard’s first time to become a veil sponsor (ano daw ba ang gagawin ng veil sponsor hehehe). Too bad i can’t attend the wedding with him coz it’s going to be held on a weekday and i can’t afford to take any more leaves coz we will need to use it this month (for the family planning seminar, canonical interview in Tagaytay, etc.. etc..)

Richard and I are finally confirmed! We were confirmed last Sunday at St. John The Baptist (or more commonly known as Quiapo Church) along with 59 other people (mostly soon-to-weds). I was expecting chaotic, unorganized system but i was wrong. As soon as we arrived the Parish Building, we were asked to form a line, approach the person manning the registration table, asked us to pay P100 for each person to be confirmed, led 3 stairs up the building (clean, mind you) and entered an airconditioned room where the confirmation is going to be held. We asked our good friend Ace to be our GodFather (hi ninong Ace!). There were ushers everywhere so you won’t find any person loitering the building. I was quite impressed. The confirmation finished at around 1130am (the confirmation ceremony itself lasted for a good 10minutes, what took so long was the seminar and cathecesis). Syempre pag may binyagan, may reception afterwards! All three of us headed to SM Manila and had a sumptous buffet at Cabalen restaurant. Yummy!

Saw WEDDING DATE (movie) with Verna (my future sis-in-law) last Friday. Kung ayaw nyong masayang ang pera at oras nyo, DO NOT watch this movie. There were like 10 people in the movie house (both of us included). Sabi ko “bat walang tao?”, sabi ni Verna “baka di pa nila alam na maganda ang movie”. When the movie ended, my question was answered. The movie SUCKS bigtime! walang plot! may conflict pero di mo alam bakit ganun ang conflict! the dialogues were cheesy. susme. Sayang ang pogi mo pa naman Dermot Mulroney (he played the bestfriend of Julia Robert’s character in My bestfriend’s Wedding). geeezzzz… buti na lang libre (tnx Verna hehehe)…

a. watching the 4th season of 24 (Jack Bauer I LAB YU!!!)

b. taking turns to use the PC to play Rush On Seven Episodes (mga adikkkk!!!)
