BRIDAL SHOES: Unisa (CMG), Alabang Town Center

Image hosted by Photobucket.comI was supposed to have my bridal shoes custom made by a Marikina shoe maker but that didn’t push thru because a day before we were supposed to meet, i went to Alabang Town Center to window shop, with no intention of buying anything. Kaso, the CMG store caught my eye! 70% off SALE!! woohoo! nagbaka-sakali lang ako and lookee here, i saw the perfect bridal shoes for me! The original price was P3500, naging P999 na lang!!! hehehe…. kaso ang problem, they have no size 6 1/2. Their last pair is 7. Hindi naman sya maluwang na maluwant, ang problem lang yung strap. The saleslady there was kind enough to suggest na dadagdagan na lang nila ng butas yung strap para magkasya sakin. So ok naman!

GROOM’S SHOES: Rockport, Landmark

Another good find! swerte namin kasi palagi naming natyetyempuhan na sale! Syempre mas mahal ang shoes ni Richard, ok lang, mas mahal naman ang gown ko hahahahhha!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comIto ang hindi namin masyadong pinrioritize ni Richard. Rings are so expensive! Especially yung may mga bato! Buti na lang, pareho naming hindi gusto ang may bato (my reason is meron na kasing bato yung engagement ring and parang overkill na kung parehong rings ko (which i will wear in the same finger) e may bato) so we just opted for a plain white gold wedding ring with a shiny finish. Sale din namin nakuha (10% off) hehehe…

This is also one thing i don’t intend to waste my money on. I just bought a fancy jewelry at a booth in Festival Mall, yung puro mga muslim ang mga saleslady hehehe… For P500, meron na kong necklace and earrings (pero earrings lang ang sinuot ko, my mom borrowed my necklace). Yung bracelet naman, hiniram lang ng mom ko sa friend nya ksi napansin nya wala akong bracelet hehehehe…

RED WINE: CHAMDOR by Louis Maclean

I first got a taste of Chamdor at World Trade Center last year when we were Christmas shopping. Meron kasi silang free wine tasting. Sa sobrang sarap, nakailang balik ako hehehehe…. it’s non alcoholic so wala akong worry na may guest akong sesenglot senglot sa reception hehehe…. I ordered 1 case (12 bottles) thru the exclusive distributor, Louis Maclean. The people there are very prompt and i had no problem transacting with them. I reserved 4 bottles for the male principal sponsors, and served the remaining bottles to our guests during the reception.

Buti na lang may natyempuhan akong candle sa SM na white with lavander accent in the lower part. Sale din! Nagprint lang ako sa tracing paper with Carpenter font and ginlue ko yung details sa candle. Pag malayo, akala mo sa candle mismo nakaprint yung wedding details hehehe…

During one of my Divisoria trips, i chanced upon this lavander colored rosary for just 15 pesos.

Used during our grand entrance in the reception and our first dance. Bought for P20 each (we had 4).

I ordered 80 boxes of thoughts/tips from Papemelroti. I wanted something useful kasi, not something na pang-display lang. I chose “have a wonderful life: everyday good things to do to add more joy you life”. Wherein everyday, pick ka lang from the box, tapos sundin mo lang (or just read it kung ayaw mong sundin) yung nakalagay dun hehehe… I got a 20% discount since i ordered in bulk tapos they custom printed our names, wedding date and venue in the cover. I ribboned it with the excess sinamay from VCQ.

Here’s my something old (obvious ba may nakasulat pa hehehe). I just covered it with dark violet handmade paper which i ordered from Mang Virgil of VCQ.

CHEST/ARRHAES: Wellmanson, Quiapo; coins from dad and richard’s collection

I don’t want to use the usual arrhaes na parang bell shaped tapos nakasabit yung 13 coins so i bought a miniature treasure chest from Wellmanson and filled it with 13 of my dad and richard’s coin collection from their trips abroad. Shinine ko lang para maganda naman tingnan.

Wala kasi akong mahanap na maganda (at mura) na silk robe. So naghanap na lang ako ng medyo lavander colored sarong which i will use during the bridal preps.

I ordered 50 live butterflies which we will release during the bridal march. The night before the wedding, meron nang iilan na namatay (huhuhu, and i though 12 days ang buhay nila, oh well, siguro ika-12th day na nung butterfly nung araw na yun huhuhu). It comes with a beautiful cage (syempre!) and triangular papers wherein pwedeng ilagay din dun isa isa ang butterflies. I believe some where distributed to the abays and released it nung malapit na ko sa altar.
